Landing his first gig back in 2006 in popular local act Gung Ho, Quenel has been playing vene after venue bringing a new sound and approach to the live music scene. He has quickly grown in popularity and opened up for acts as gig as Killing Heidi frontwoman Ella Hooper and the Noiseworks frontman John Stevens.
Over the years of playing in multiple acts at different venues and events, Quenel would constantly challenge the conventions of live music. He takes a fresh approach to style and interpretation of each and every song. This has lead to high demand for weddings and corporate events which require a performer who can be versatile enough to play ‘background music’ or get the dancefloor pumping when the time is right.

Quenel has played over a thousand events and has attained the ability to read a crowded room and play a repertoire of songs that is perfectly suited to the people who are in front of him.
By using subtle harmonies and a solid underlying thump of the guitar, Quenel keeps the song moving and interesting at low volumes and when the crowd is ready, he can kick it up a notch and keep the dancefloor full and help to make the event a night to remember!
